The lil' boys are eating "beans" (jellybeans) to keep them happy. Connor is in the tan shirt and Cody is in the dark blue. If you can't tell Tyler from Elizabeth you well........you need help. LOL!

Christmas Morning

The mighty Christmas Tree!

Tyler is so very sad...whatever!! He had a blast checking out his stocking!

Elizabeth in her "Cinderella" night gown made just for her by Mommy. She got an awesome pony stuffed animal from the Jolly Big Man (SANTA!!).

Connor is being eaten by his stocking!! AHHH! He had a BLAST this year. It was so fun to watch his face when he pulled goodies out.

Cody has learned to be cautious. Look BEFORE you stick your hand into a dark sock. He loved ripping paper and ALL the NOISY!! cars the little boys got this year.

It was a great day! I love to see my little humans happy.

Some Christmas fun

Gingerbread houses and cookies are Auntie things in our house. I don't believe I have ever done these with my kids. Aunt Karen rocks at doing the "fun" stuff. I am not sure what we would do with out her.

Button Holes

Connor is the worlds BEST helper. He favorite sentence is,"Me, help" It is so sweet. So the other day he helped me make button holes for a crafty Christmas gift for the kiddos. He LOVED pushing the little lever back each time. Cody just kept saying,"top top!" (translation,"STOP STOP!) He hates the noise but he loved to watch. Once again Tyler was our camera guy.

By the way it took me like 4 hours to get the whole button hole thing to work. GRRR I had to take a nap to sleep of my frustrations.

And we are off.....

James and I are off. We are no longer parents this weekend. YES!!! We are going away just the two of us for a much wanted adult weekend!
We have cause to celebrate! As of Dec 30th we will have been married 10 years. That seems like it should feel longer but it so doesn't feel like enough. I am glad we will have an eternity together. I can not think of another person I would rather spend it with!
Well I am off to get all perty for the day. Okay I am going with my hubby so I think I will upgrade from perty to HOT! LOL!!

Hair cuts!

First: This post is to be read in that super hero announcer voice.

Yes Amanda is learning to be frugal. In doing so she had to convince her loving hubby that hair cuts for boys were too expensive to pay for. So he agreed (she is not allowed to do his yet and she does not blame him) and let her buy a hair cut kit. YEA!!! She did 1 jr. man, 2 lil' boys and one cute girlie! At a cheep hair place that is a minimum of $7 a head so $28+tax. Clipper set was about $23+tax. It has paid for it self already. WOW!! Smart Amanda! Way to be frugal.

Wiggly babies are fun. Cody sat pretty still but Connor was WAY more ticklish. He kept giggling and hunching down.
