Today I learned....

I love my husband more than I ever imagined a person could love someone. He is kind and good. He is my rock and my shelter. He is my leader, advisor and best friend. (oh and lover but you don't want to hear about that!) He is perfect in my eyes. Today was nothing special. He still hasn't put the shelf up in the garage. He didn't do any out of the ordinary act of kindness or romance. He was just him. My honey.

Okay I stole that from Liz's blog. But I needed that today! Liz is ALWAYS inspirational to me. I swear you look up Christ like in the dictionary and there is her smiling face. Love you Liz.

President Monson has always been my favorite. He reminds me of my grandma. It must be the smile or maybe the wisdom. Or those ears. I love his ears they are so cute. (Yes people I am weird.) Any ways I love him and to hear him speak well it is a joy.

My New Calling...

So I am the Provident Living Committee Chair for our ward. Yes this is a made up calling our bishop sees a need for. And yes this means we have no hand book to look to for guidance. And yes this means we will figure it out as we go. And yes I am so stoked it is crazy!!!! Can you say scary fun!

So as I sat in the chapel of the temple last night (listening to an overly loud organ) I can a cross a scripture that hit me with so much power and meaning it was crazy. Doctrine & Covenants 5:34:

Yea, for this cause I have said: Stop, and stand still until I command thee, and I will provide means whereby thou mayest accomplish the thing which I have commanded thee.

Can you say awesome! So that is what I shall do.

What did I learn today....not a whole lot.

• I guess I realized I MUST sit down and create a budget AND stick to it.
• I learned I have enough groceries that I don't HAVE to go to the store this week except to replenish. And that means more money to work the deals this week. I hear Albertson's calling my name! Oh yeah got to get flour at Safeway and one more spaghetti sauce run and we are good for the year!(if we use 1 can a week)
• I learned Elizabeth can draw a awesome butterfly and Tyler well he is officially a math wiz.
• I learned the little boys LOVE to draw more than we like. And on that same note....a baby wipe can remove red marker from my couch. Yeah lovely. Good thing Daddy doesn't read this blog. LOL!!!

So I guess I did learn something. Oh yeah I forgot, i learned how to change my background. COOL!!!

Oh the things I have learned this week!!! Oh the things I can't share until next week!!!! I can't wait. I am so happy!!! Oh and I am so NOT pregnant. ( Just thought I better put that in case any one thought I was crazy to go for that again.) I can't wait...I can't wait... I can't wait....I can't wait!!! Okay so i am a little giddy. I really wish it were a baby or new house, oh or a new car. You know a nice little two seater zoom zoom car. I would be really happy. But no this is more practical and more awesome than a car, but not as fun as a baby. :)
